Deeply saddened at the Home Going of Brother Art Chadwick. Rejoicing because to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord; Art is safe in the arms of Jesus and his suffering and pain are over. We will miss him because to know Art is to love him. His Godly testimony and love for the Lord were an example to emulate. Prayers are going up for Janie and the Family at this time. We rejoice because we will see Art again and spend an eternity with him in heaven. Art would want you to know these words from John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Brother Art was a great example of a godly man and loving husband. I will miss hearing him pray and watching him walk into church holding his wife's hand. He is the epitome of Paul's statement "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." (Phil. 1:21). An abundant entrance was ministered for Art into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (2 Pet. 1:11).
Brother Art and Janie were a wonderful testimony to us..In our visit with him, we spoke a few minutes and when it was time to leave Ellen, Janie, Art and I held hands and I said a prayer. When my prayer finished Art didn't let my hand go and started to praise my journey in Christianity and to our unexpected joy, he also prayed for us to be successful witnesses. What an AMAZING MAN!!!! We were privileged to know him. His memory is everlasting and we cherish Janie's friendship always.
Art was a sweet precious godly man who always had a smile though he was constantly in pain. Art will be missed by all who knew him. My prayers are for Janie and her family as they prepare for the upcoming service😥🙏💝
Art was a modern-day Barnabas. A wonderful encourager and a man who showed his love for the Lord by his love for others. He and Janie have a special place in our hearts!
What a testimony he was & will be remembered as such all of my days.
