DJ Williams Memorial Service

Early Tuesday morning, November 7, DJ Williams entered heaven and was united with Jesus Christ his Savior. DJ is the son of Danny & Heather Williams. The Williams family is a precious and integral part of our church family. DJ’s gentle smile and kind personality will be greatly missed when we gather at church.

We had a memorial service to celebrate his beautiful life on Saturday, November 11 at 1 p.m. at Anchor Baptist Church, 3300 Hwy 50, Little River, SC. Pastor Carl Wood officiated with the eulogy delivered by DJ’s former Pastor Joe Brown who came from WV. Testimony and Scripture was also offered by Dale Dickman, DJ’s Sunday School teacher.

Most of the nearly 200 attendees were wearing something pink because it was DJ’s favorite color. There was a food fellowship and family visitation at the conclusion of the service. Several of people shared testimonials of how special DJ was to them.

MEMORIAL: DJ had a great love for summer camp ministry and shared openly of how God used his time at camp to help him grow spiritually.  In memory of DJ, a special fund has been established to financially assist other youth to attend these kind of camps.  If you would like to contribute, you can donate securely by clicking on the button below or mail it to Anchor Baptist Church | 3300 Highway 50 | Little River, SC 29566.
